Kid-Friendly Summer in Philly: Here’s What Coming to Sunset Social This Year

When summer hits Philly, families start looking for that sweet spot: fun for the kids, easy on the parents, and of course... soaking up the sun. Perched atop Cira Green, our park is more than just a rooftop—it’s a wide-open space with skyline views, casual food, and room for everyone (even the littlest ones).

Let Them Run While You Kick Back

With plenty of open green space, our rooftop is built for movement. Kids can stretch their legs, play some games, and make new friends while you keep an eye on things from the blanket—with your favorite frozen drink in hand.

Family Movies On The 60 ft Screen

Movie nights and Matinees on our big screen return this season, and yes, we’re showing the favorite family-friendly flicks. Inside Out 2, Mufasa, and Transformers One are just some of the movies we have lined up to keep the little ones entertained this season. Bring a blanket, grab some popcorn and candy (Wednesdays only), and enjoy the show!

Sky-High Fun for the Smallest Guests: Events For Kids

We’re all about fun for everyone and that includes making space for our smaller crowd. Throughout the season, Sunset Social hosts a lineup of events designed specifically with kids in mind. From our upcoming rooftop Easter Party to Mother’s Day arts and crafts, and even kid-friendly silent discos (First coming June 8th), we want to create moments where little ones can have just as much fun as the grown-ups bringing them. Whether they’re dancing on our dancefloor or making handmade cards for mom, there’s something for every personality.

Our menu is stacked with easy wins for even the pickiest eaters. Low-stress, high-reward picks that keep things simple—crispy chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, and ice cream or water ice, are just some of the picks we’ve got ready to keep them happy. Plus, with laid-back picnic seating and wide-open space, table manners are optional—and sticky fingers are expected. It’s the kind of food that lets everyone relax into the moment, no matter their age. The kind of meals kids and adults can enjoy together.
