September at Sunset Social: What Fall Means For Philly’s Park In The Sky

As the summer sunsets continue to happen earlier, and the leaves have a little more trouble hanging on, Sunset Social is shifting into our fall era. Now don’t pull out those puffer jackets just yet, the sunny weather is still perfect for your rooftop hang, so let’s take a look at what we have in store for you to enjoy as the weather drops only a couple degrees.

The golden hour hangouts are only getting better with afternoons filled with movie nights, local beers, picnic blankets, and more. Some of the tidings the new season brings to the rooftop include hot cocktails, picnic combos, and fall programming:

Fall without football is like the pumpkin patch without the pumpkins. We recognize that religiously watching the Birds the minute the months start ending with -ber is a must. We have game day on the 60-foot screen with specials to match: $4 Kenwood Lager, $4 Yards Trash Talk IPA, and $1 Hot Dogs!

Hot Cocktails are back at Sunset Social but this time we’re making one small change. With our hot cider and hot chocolate, you can now order those drinks standard (no alcohol), or upgrade them to be spiked. So next time it’s a slow Monday afternoon and you’re just looking to mellow out, the choice is yours to sip something warm that won’t bring the buzz. These options are now available to purchase!

Picnic Combos, another fall classic for the rooftop, are back and keeping you even more warm. 1 Blanket + 2 Cocktails (or 2 Beers) is all you need to kick start any fall afternoon in the best way. Sit on it, lay on it, cuddle with it, all options that are available to you at Cira Green whether it’s cozying up for a movie night or kicking back on the grass with the coworkers on a sunny afternoon.
